After Nargis, MES made donation and rehabilitation to the Nargis affected areas and carried out a number of meetings and seminars concerned about cyclone resistant housing. MES also donated with other donors,two primary schools in Kun Gyan Gon township. The first one was constructed in interlocking block system and located at Nyaung Ngu village. Another one is located at Maeyagon village which is far about 21 miles from Kun Gyan Gon township and 6 miles from sea.

Day Myanmar Primary School, is in Nyaung Ngu village, Kwan Chan Gone Township, Yangon Division along the TwanTae-Kaw Hmu-Kwan Chan Gone Highway Road. Myanmar Engineering Society lead interlocking block technologyand reconstructed the new building with the supporting of related departments . The building with the length of 80’, width of 30’, and height of 12’ was constructed with the co-donation of local and oversea donors.
